“I’ve always wanted to start a food blog.” That’s probably a phrase all my close friends have heard me repeat multiple times.  Having recently travelled to Italy over Easter, every bite of pasta and excessive indulgence in gelato has reminded me what ‘La Dolce Vita’ is. Maybe that’s why I decided no more procrastination, I need to start my own blog right now. I mean, as Coco Chanel once said,  “you live but once; you might as well be amusing.” If she’s that classy and fabulous, she must have a point, right?

So as my year in London is winding down, it’s time for me to eat, laugh, and post a whirlwind of great places to visit. From sweetcorn fritter burgers to thick ramen noodles, it’s time to savor these last weeks. One delicious food affair at a time.

P.S. This morning, I was lucky enough to snag a table at Granger and Co. in Notting Hill, a brunch spot I’ve been wanting to try for a while! When I was in Japan last summer, I did not stop hearing about how amazing Bill Granger’s new branch in Tokyo’s gorgeous Omotesando was. Unfortunately, I never got to try out the snazzy and immensely popular brunch spot before I had to leave.

This mistake was finally rectified this morning and every bite of that sweet and buttery ricotta hotcake was indeed as fabulous as I imagined. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to take a picture of the traditional Aussie breakfast plate my friend had but I did manage to steal a bite of Bill Granger’s recipe for success: his organic scrambled eggs. And yes, in case you haven’t heard, it’s amazing in every single gastronomic sense.
